May 2004. For our anniversary, we decided to take a quick little weekend trip, starting with a picnic in Douthat State Park, Clifton, Forge, Virginia (about 2 hours from our apartment) and then an overnight stay in Staunton followed by a matinee play at the recreated Blackfriar's, home of the Shenendoah Shakespeare players.
